Converts face the challenge of adapting to the teachings of Islam due to their diverse backgrounds, thus requiring a structured support system to ensure that the understanding of Islam can be practiced consistently. Conversion Guidance Classes are seen as an important mechanism in strengthening understanding and social support on an ongoing basis. This article aimed to analyze the level of basic understanding of Islam among converts who attended the Conversion Guidance Class organized by the Hidayah Center Foundation in the Klang Valley. This article used a quantitative approach through questionnaires involving 118 respondents and was analyzed using SPSS version 26.0 descriptively. The findings show that the majority of respondents have a high level of basic understanding of Islam. Specifically, the aspects of faith, worship, morals, and sirah recorded a high level based on the mean value between 1.48 and 1.98, with a small percentage of items being at the medium level. Overall, the findings of this study suggest that converts to Islam who attended the class showed a high level of basic understanding of Islam.
