About the Journal
Journal of Islamic Educational Research (JIER) is currently accepting manuscripts for publication. JIER, a double blind peer-reviewed journal, is published by Islamic Education Programme, Academy of Islamic Studies, Universiti Malaya. It is an online and open access journal comprises manuscripts in Malay and English languages. It has been launched during International Seminar on Empowering Islamic Education 2016 (MADRASAH 2016).
JIER uses a continuous publishing model, according to which each manuscript is published individually once approved. The article can then be accessed online. All the approved manuscripts for the particular year will be combined in two volumes for the year. From 2016 to 2024, only one volume was published per year. However, starting in 2025, two volumes will be published annually.
